Alexandra Shieron is a professional dancer, actor, voiceover artist and personal trainer. After living and performing in NYC she has crossed the pond to London. She is represented by Matthew Cheney Management. 

 

Alexandra has performed across Canada, the United States, Australia, China, Russia, Ukraine, Scotland and the high seas. She has worked with top choreographers, directors and production companies such as Lisa Stevens, Lorin Latarro, Alex Sanchez, Lainie Sakakura, Nick Kenkel, Ricky Hinds, Tammy Colucci, Darren Lee, Lauren Kadel, RWS Entertainment Group, Holland America Line, Beyond Repair Dance, The Gatsby Girls, Life Like Touring and Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. 

 

Trained under Deborah Morgan at the Edmonton Dance Centre she obtained her Advanced II Royal Academy of Dance, reached the Premier level of competitive Highland Dance and performed with the Ukrainian Dance company, Shumka.  Alexandra moved to New York where she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts magna cum laude in Dance with a Minor in Arts Management at SUNY Purchase College, under the direction of Wallie Wolfgruber. She spent a semester abroad at Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA). She also trained at The School of Alberta Ballet; The Mussorgsky Ballet Theatre in Russia; North Carolina School of the Arts; ODC/San Francisco; and The Banff Centre Training Program. She trained at Upright Citizens Brigade for Improv, David Cady for commercial acting and with Roger Becker for voiceover.

She has been the recipient of four prestigious Alberta Foundation for the Arts Grants for Dance.

 

She has been a guest teacher at multiple dance schools in New York and in Canada. She was a Senior Teacher at Pure Barre NYC- Columbus Circle, Upper East Side and Union Square and Lead Teacher at Pure Barre Greenwich. She is currently an instructor at Define London, former Broadway performer and celeb master trainer, Ashley Verma's brainchild. She is certified in Level 2 and 3 in Personal Training and has her TRX Suspension Method Level 1.
