Alexandra is a self employed fitness instructor based in London, United Kingdom. She brings her passion and enthusiasm for fitness and technical education to the every client she teaches. 

Alexandra brings over a decade of experience as a professional dancer into the health and fitness industry. From Edmonton, Canada, her career has taken her to perform and work in New York City, London, Australia, Europe, Russia, China and at sea. She graduated from SUNY Purchase College in New York with her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance and simultaneously worked in the fitness industry while performing. Her performing credits include Off-Broadway, national tours, regional theatre, corporate events, cruise ships and concert dance. 

 

She is a Level 2/3 Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor and is highly specialised in barre, TRX and stretch/mobility. She is ante/post natal certified and has worked with clients recovering from major surgeries. Her sought out energy and passion has also brought her into the dance studio as a guest teacher in Canada and the USA where she has taught not only aspiring professional dancers, but figure skaters, toddlers, teenagers and the young at heart. She was a Senior Teacher at Pure Barre NYC- Columbus Circle, Upper East Side and Union Square and Lead Teacher at Pure Barre Greenwich. She currently teaches at Define London and is also available for 1 to 1 sessions and small group training. 

 

Her love for helping people succeed has driven her to go back to school and is attending Brunel University London to become a Physiotherapist. She is also an Ambassador for Sweaty Betty at their flag ship store, 1Carnaby.
